We are a married couple who celebrated their Golden Wedding by catching COVID. Now retired Jan is pursuing a life involving painting with watercolours and exploring the medium of lino printing. She has been an art specialist since schooldays but a Transatlantic cruise in later life resulted in a passion to become proficient with the medium deemed the hardest to master. Recent success was seen as an entry to a contest saw her work framed and exhibited alongside Masters from around the World at the International Watercolour Masters event in Lilleshall.
Steve has taken to sailing again which he has done off and on since he was 7 years old and spent summer holidays at Southwold in Suffolk. Sailing on the sea and the River Blythe. Now sailing with Blithfield Sailing Club on a different River Blythe. He also is part of a maintenance team that keeps club boats and equipment in running order. We have cruised the World and spent some time in a motorhome writing reports for a camping guide. Trips took us as far south as Portugal and as far north as the Lofoten Islands, north of the Arctic Circle.
